How do I update the patch to be compatible with my current save? I started my save when the game was released but would like it to be compatible with the latest patch. Most of my games are still high scoring games.

Player Manager in 96 or 97. I remember when you started you couldn't manage in the Premiership. It was a fun game, taking the players to Blackpool for a day out to boost morale and always trying to avoid getting called into the board room. The match highlights were fun too, four different squares on the screen would unravel to reveal the highlight.

I had a loan offer accepted by Man Utd for Tyler Mirelli (I think his name is) and after acceptance, I entered contract negotiations with the player who wanted a five year contract. I didn't want to sign him, I only wanted to loan him. Is this a bug?

If a player has been training well with a rating over 8, is he likely to have an impact on the ME as opposed to a player who has a training rating of 6? This is regardless of attributes.

I was impressed when I saw Rashford run the ball out of play but tried his best to keep it in. Never seen that before.

Find players? Like do my own searching around the globe? It only allows me to search for players that have been scouted. I'd like to find potentially great players using the search function but it doesn't seem to allow it anymore. Even when I look at teams in South America, players are greyed out, do I need those leagues loaded?

Can I add Everton's point deduction to an existing save?

I do feel lost with this game, I won't mention the obvious glaring error with press conferences and the questioning, we all know how bad it is and I'm going to disable it. Ashley Young came to me about his playing time and wouldn't accept being a back up option. He then said he needs to think about the next step in his career. He's 38.

So far, three matches in I have felt immersed in the match engine and feel more part of the action. I take it that player attributes are reflected better in the ME (no longer players with 6 Long shots scoring worldies every week). Are players first touch reflected better considering the ball dynamics now. Is there more freedom in the match engine?

Is scouting too easy? Too many grade A players in my inbox and reasonably priced. Are my scouts really that good?

I know people have complained about high scoring games and realism but you only have to look at the Premiership the last few weeks especially today.

You choose how to play the game, I personally don't use the preset tactics and make my own. You can create your own version of pressing and take more satisfaction when it comes off.

How do I play a short free-kick from a shooting position or a spray the ball to a player in a wide position? I'm trying to do something different with set-pieces and essentially lay it off to someone else or to knock the ball wide, I couldn't see the options to set this up.

Do I need to restart my save or can I continue?

When the new patch comes out can we continue with our current saves?
