HI, I was wondering if somebody could suggest 'fair' values for Home and World Reputations for a complete novice manager who managed to win the World Cup for England in his first games in management . Team physio who had to take over as manager because of unforeseen events... something along those lines!! I wanted to start a save as an unknown and let fortune take me where it wishes, but with the opportunity of rapidly boosting my reputation through World Cup success. Now, I ended up winning the WC, but it doesn't seem to have affected my actual in-game reputation a jot (although Current Reputation is at 7999). I resigned as England manager and yet the only jobs I can get in the world are in Malaysia and India. I wasn't expecting a fluke to put me in the top league of managers, but I'm sure that some league club somewhere would give this overnight success an opportunity, but my actual in game reputation is still on half a star. I've decided to edit the values, but I don't really know how the 3 reputations interact so I would appreciate a suggestion.... making all three 7999 would be too much of a boost, I think. But, alas no, I had an offer from an Indian club after a few months, and that's it! I've checked my manager reputation with an editor and Home and World Reputation are around the 400-500 mark while Current Reputation is at 7999, which is presumably my WC win being accounted for. On my in-game visible reputation, I am on the same half-star as I started with. I was wondering if anybody knows if the game is working properly (I used the Realism Megapack), if unrealistically, and if I can expect my useable reputation to more rapidly increase if I serve some time in India. Otherwise, I'd have been better off winning the Indian Cup than the World Cup in terms of rep! 😛
