In my first summer, I also managed to get Yamal on a completely free loan from barca, and also Fermin Lopez on a loan for like 1.5k a week! They're pushing me up atm and I'm 8 points clear after 20 games (was 14 points clear but been having a few poor games recently)

I've started a Real Betis save this year. They are sort of my Spanish team (partner from seville and have been to their stadium a couple of times!), but felt they were a bit uninspired with an older squad the last couple of seasons. This season looks like a fun one, with Fekir and Isco together, and old guard Bellerin and Bartra back. Also a new wonderkid who's excelling in real life in Assane Diao. I'm also possibly planning a malaga rebuild save at some point. Checked their squad briefly and from the player valuations, it looks like they'll be quite strong for the third division and seem to have a lot of promising youth!

Started a save with Roma and spent quite some time sorting out the tactics, youth teams, transfers etc. Before moving forward ans suddenly finding out Dybala has a £10m release clause which the Saudis activated instantly, and he moved Had to quit the save after that, as there's no way I'm planning on losing my best player for £10m. Just wondering if I restart, if it's possible to get him to agree to a new contract without a release clause. Only issue is as soon as Saudis show interest, he says you can't offer the financial muscle that he wants (Saudis gave him £800k p/w on this save!)

Yeah it's whats making me think the worst atm. Because surely with the reception over the last couple of days, if they had set it to release later today, they'd all be on here giving hints and stirring up some hype? They might keep quiet if they know its not coming out as they don't want to give the mods another hard clean up job.

Hype, pretty much. We had over 100 members on this thread throughout the day, although it seems to have backfired and turned into negative attention now! I do agree, Neil Brocks "Today is not that day" was quite useful in previous editions.

You'd think on the day of beta that all the SI staff would come out early and tease on here, and so far there's been radio silence.. I think they're taking into account the negativity from yesterday and just staying quiet if its not today

I see 2 versions on cdkeys, the one for £29.99 which doesn't mention anything about beta access, and the worldwide one for £37.99 which specifically says early and beta access?? Will the £29.99 version not come with the beta access then?

I have saves with teams in each of the top leagues + Holland and Belgium. I feel like playing with different teams on different days. Sometimes I'll want a team where I'm challenging in Europe, or sometimes I feel like a lower division team, or strong youth etc. But I'll only ever be invested in 1 or 2 of those saves. For example, I recently finished first season with Leverkusen, then had a break from it and did Middlesbrough. Now I'm looking for one of my other saves to hook me in...
