Thanks so much Knap! So you think a M C natural even if not accomplished in DM C will be ok in your double pivot VOL tactics? If so that changes a lot and is helpful. what is SUS tactics? btw I am amazed you can create all these tactics!

@knapI have a few questions given some of the comments above re ME changes and mentality. I have been using your tactics for 2 seasons, with Man Utd, winning the league both times, Europa League in S1 and QF of Champs League in S2. i finally have the squad I want after 2 seasons of clearing deadwood. Best team/squad looks like this 4-1DM-2-2IF/IW-1 Diego Costa, Dalot/Porro, Shaw/Guardivol, Varane/Silva/Scalvini/Martinez, Casemiro/Bamba/Scalvini Bellingham/Bruno Fernandes/Eriksen/Enzo Fernández Rashford/Sancho, Assensio/Chuzeweke Laurato Martinez/Leonardo also have some strong youth prospects Not married to this shape so could do 4-2-3-1 but prefer not to do DMC x2 with S.Vol role as don’t think I have the players for that and given my Centre Mids / AM C players I favour a couple in M C. So beowulf (which I have used a bit) is not really a long term formation for me. anyway my question is that I’ve been using HGF451IWp106ALLCups and also PARIS4231P102ECC (if want to play AMC). All ME23.1 versions. but have been conceding a LOT of goals and not winning easy games, eg 3-3 vs Leciester, next week 7-3 win vs Leeds, then lose 3-0 vs Liverpool, then beat Man City 2–0 followed by 3-0 win vs Juve then lose 3-1 to Newcastle so I suppose my question and reading the above is if you think (after playing around with it more) is ME23.1 is more suited to balanced and if you will be bringing out a 4-1-2-2IF/IW-1 or 4-2-3-1 IF type formation with this. I like scoring lots of goals but the conceding is infuriating and also conceding lots of penalties! also do you recommend rotating formations for home and away finally off topic but do you know if FM touch (which is what I am playing) has tactic familiarity just we cannot see it? Worried about chopping and changing formations! super confused after 2 seasons of relative success and seeing your stats for your tactics it doesn’t make sense to me!

Question: does tactical familiarity matter in the touch edition? I know we cannot see it but wondered if it mattered?

I can see the tactics folder. I just can’t access it. I’ve tried creating a folder called tactics on my desktop and adding that folder to iTunes via the file menu but it makes no difference. Is there a way to open a folder in iTunes file sharing? ie like you would in windows explorer by double clicking. simple question it seems but strange iTunes doesn’t seem to work like that. (FAOD I am not technologically challenged, at least usually and it was working before by putting the tactics in the roof folder in iTunes)

Hi all. The above was working for me but now the tactics are not appearing in FM23. I am still downloading to iTunes using file sharing but (and this seems to have only occurred in the last 24 hours) now on the iPad I can’t see them. I have a strong suspicion that the iPad FM23 is looking in the tactics folder as if I save something to the iPad (ie my own tactic) it says (on iTunes) the tactics folder was last modified at the time I saved on ipad. But the issue is in iTunes i cannot seem to “go into” the tactics folder nor drag files to it, only to the root folder. Does anyone know how to address this? would also be great to understand how cloud saving of tactics works (and where it saves to) as that may be another method here? would be great if SI had provided some form of guide here
