  1. I don't like that you can set Match Preparation Focus only on the exact one day you receive the notification in the inbox. If you're using Continue Game Timeout, you'll very easily sim right past it. It should be possible to set the focus for the upcoming game right after the previous match and up until the hour the actual Match Focus training takes place.
  2. I've also noticed that club unhappiness affects players on international duty: e. g. one of my Irish players asked for a transfer at their club, but they get Unsure/Disenchanted body language during international matches. Is this just how it works now? I don't remember having such issues in previous FMs, although to be fair it's been a while since I dabbled in international management. I thought club morale / international morale used to be calculated separately.
  3. I'm enjoying the improved match engine a lot: the players and the ball feel "heavier" than before, the movement seems more natural and realistic. With the exception of one hilariously bad back pass I saw on stream and one defensive set piece where two opposition players somehow remained completely unmarked, I've not seen a single situation that looked unrealistic. My only complain would be about ball physics seemingly going haywire occasionally after goalkeeper parries it out of bounds: it feels like the ball is flying at impossible angles for an incredible distance compared to normal deflections that keep the ball within the pitch.
  4. I'm tempted to put this under Bugs, but hopefully this will be seen and addressed in a future FM24 patch anyway rather than become a future feature. Continue Game Timeout is a great feature that helps cut down on unnecessary clicking, but using it does mean you will skip events and decisions that the game marks as non-essential and thus doesn't wait for your input before auto-resolving them. The examples include: - Injury treatment (Choosing between Injections/Doctor/Specialist/Send Home etc.) - International selection injury/replacement dialogue (In case of player injury the game will continue simulating past the replacement window of opportunity, leaving you one player fewer for the rest of the international break) - Pre-concern player meetings (When you have the highest % chance of resolving the issue before it even becomes a problem) I suggest that with Continue Game Timeout turned on, the game should flag these and other similar events as "essential" and wait for the player's input before moving the time forward.
