  1. Okay, now that the full game is out - I can be a tosser with the Frontale data. Been a fan since 2008 and have been living in Kanagawa for 15 years. I’ll summarize my issues here; Team Rivals The rivalry with FC Tokyo is is historical but its silly to suggest there is no rivalry with the Marinos. Games between both teams have been far more heated than the games against the Gas have. This is definitely more of a local rivalry. We have a minor rivalry with Shonan Bellmare as well. Stadium The Todoroki Athletics Stadium is not a registered trademark as far as I can tell. Its literally the name of the park the stadium sits in. Kawasaki Stadium is this Our youth/reserve don’t play at our main stadium and never have, they used to play at the above Fujitsu Stadium before moving to Anker Field in Ikuta, which was built for the start of the 2023 season. Likewise, our youth facilities should get an upgrade because of this. Player positions/stats Marcinho might be a natural right-winger in Brazil, but he’s never once played there for us. He is a left-winger. On the game he’s constantly played on the right by the AI, which is just wrong. Kamifukumoto. His CA is too low. I’m not saying he’s a world class player. But he gets dropped in favour of Shunsuke Ando, who is basically the fourth-choice keeper for us behind Hayasaka. The fact that Ando has played 5 games for us in 13 years should tell you his role at the club. Right now, both Kamifukumoto and Hayasaki are dropped in favour of Ando. Jung-Sung Ryong speaks fluent Japanese. He's Korean and lived in Japan for 7 years. Jesiel speaks basic Japanese. He always naturalises on my game, which is odd because again he doesn't really speak Japanese. Damaio - again, he's not fluent in Japanese. I don't know where that has come from. I don't know about Joao Schmidt either but I assume he's not fluent. Miki Yamane. Should be RB/RWB - his main strength is bombing forward down the overlaps. He started his career at CB at Shonan Bellmare, but was converted into an attacking full-back by Oniki. Can he play CB? Yes, but he's never once done it for us. Wakizaka - penalty kicks = 7. He's our regular kick taker ahead of Ienaga - who also for some odd reason has 9. Toya Myogan - is not left-footed. He's predominantly right-footed. He's also a LW, not a LM. Einaga Takatora is a natural right-winger, accomplished on the left. Taiyo Igarashi is an attacking midfielder not a striker. Kota Takai - please show me on the doll where he touched you. I saw this kid at the academy when he was 17 and he impressed me then. The fact he’s played 20+ games already this season and has been slowly blooded into the first-team by Oniki and got called up to the u20 World Cup this summer, tells you how highly he is rated. He is one the best CB prospects I’ve ever seen in Japan in terms of defensive positioning and composure. His CA and PA needs a massive buff. Right now he never develops and winds up slumming it in the J2. Club-culture We have a culture at the club of developing young players. About 8 of the 26 players who were in the Japan NT squad for the World Cup played for us at some point. The game pretty much abandons our youth prospects and signs 25 year old duffers instead. Again, not realistic in terms of club-culture. Legends Kengo. I shouldn't need to explain why. Icons Tetsuo Nakanishi (3901174) should be listed as an icon. He’s currently serving as a club ambassador for us. And has done for the past 8 years. Likewise; Yu Kobayashi (45016385) Kazuki Ganaha (7100149) Chong Te-se (45002172) Shogo Taniguchi (45083761) Eiji Kawashima Yuto Takeoka Juninho Takanobu Komiyama Elsinho (19140127) Yusuke Tasaka (784467) Junichi Inamoto (3900693)
  2. There is a stupid file that got included in the update, which messed all the loans up. You have to delete it from the "you know what" folder.
  3. Promoted JFL teams average attendance over the past decade: 2022: Nara Club (2,456), FC Osaka (2,563) 2021: FC Iwaki (2,121) 2019: FC Imabari (3,101) 2018; Hachinoe (2,208) 2016: Numazu (2,332) 2015: Kagoshima Utd (2,624) 2014: Renofa Yamaguchi (2,602) Its not even a matter of changing. Its a matter of pure geography and fan-base. They have to share the city with Iwata - who are basically J-League old money.
  4. Ko Itakura - favoured personnel --> Daisuke Takagi (45035220) [friend], Kaoru Mitoma [former team-mate] Ao Tanaka - favoured personnel --> Wayne Rooney [idol] From the old Frontale player bios. In the case of Itakura-Mitoma bromance, I can't find the article about this (it was in an old matchday programme) but they basically came up through the Frontale youth team together and then when Kaoru moved to Europe, Ko kinda mentored him a lot. They've known each other since they were like 11 years old.
  5. I honestly would just cap promotion at those four teams that currently hold the J3 License, with Reliac and Kochi eligible beyond 2025. Honda FC are not a self-sustaining club. They have one the smallest grounds in the JFL, their average attendances have never gone beyond 1,000 and they still employ company players that operate on part-time contracts. The reason they don't go up, is because it would financially cripple them to go professional.
  6. Tbf, Korean is grammatically very similar to Japanese and most young people can understand a few basic words in Korean. It's easily the most spoken second language after English. I would say it's somewhat accurate for 2023.
  7. 10 years into the future. All major European leagues loaded as well as Brazil and Argentina. This is how many newgens on the game have over 15 crossing as a full-back. 11 players. The only one who is world class is Barraza from Man City. Likewise there are only 15 newgens that have over 15 in corners or penalty kicking as well. By comparison at the start of the game, there are 57 players at FB/WB under the age of 25 that have 15+ in crossing. 53 in any position that have 15+ in corners and also there are 105 u25 players with 15+ in penalty taking. Are you seriously telling me in the future that nobody under the age of 25 at a top European club knows how to take a penalty or kick a corner?
  8. Morata wasn't instantly transfer-listed the moment he walked through the door.
  9. I'm currently unemployed. Whenever I hover over the transfer value this box pops up. In some cases, its asking me whether I want to scout the player or not and mentions the scouting budget. I'm not even managing anyone and there is no club budgets. The ability to scout the player only occurs if the player is on loan.
  10. Also the Training Center was built in 2014, not 2004.
  11. Guam don't play at the National Stadium in Hagåtña (129510) they play at the National Training Center Pitch 1 in Dedeo (1019949) - its also 3G astroturf not grass. Its not keyed on in the game, so they're playing friendlies everywhere on the island. I would also change the name. There are two pitches, but there is only that is approved for international matches.
  12. Ryo Hatsuse has been one of the better full-backs this season but he was woeful last season. But this season he's back to the form he showed earlier in his career. As a whole the stats are pretty much based on the end of the 2022 season, rather that what is happening right now this season. Its why Damiao is still appearing as a world-beater for us.
  13. Would you guys pay 55m for this? Well Liverpool just did. Again, the AI is purchasing based on rep and not talent. The guy got signed to Bayern for 67m. Did nothing. Signed for Newcastle for 48m and also did nothing. Either his agent is a genius, or the AI is dumb as rocks. 2 months in, they've now transfer-listed him because they realize he's useless.
  14. I've also ran a few tests but its still being funny. It is slightly improved from FM23 but still not perfect. I have the top 5 leagues loaded and whilst there are a few regens in the England setup, ol' Tammy Abraham at the ripe old age of 32 is still getting called up even though he's an impact sub at Porto. That might have something to do with Mourinho as England manager but its still odd. Man Utd produced a wonderkid striker who got called up, scored on his debut but was then shipped off on loan to the Championship and never got called up again. Anyways, Newcastle bought Gabriel from Arsenal for 47m. Played him 5 times and then sold him to Benfica for 13m the following season. Also signed Gravenbach on a loan to purchase deal. Has played like 10 times in 3 years for them. Denzel Dumfries at 34 has just signed for Chelsea this season in 2030. Again worldwide rep. They already have Reece James and Geertruida for that position. Are you seriously telling me they can't play a youngster for that role? This is not intelligent squad building.
  15. AI is still making daft signings. Arteta in 2028 just signed Kepa for 70m and he's played ONE game. Likewise, international managers are still picking based on rep. The youngest player in the England team is 26.
