No option to cancel and even in offline mode it won’t let the game run. I’ve googled it and apparently Steam doesn’t allow an update to be cancelled if it’s begun Thanks for your help though mate, appreciated.

Sorry to repost myself but any ideas? Will re-installing the game / Steam do anything? Really don’t to potentially ruin a great save I have going .

Not sure if anyone else has covered this so apologies if so, but my update started automatically when loading Steam. I have paused it as I really don’t want to update until I’ve read more feedback. However, I can’t see any option to start the game without completing the download now. Is there any way to salvage this and play the game without having to complete the update? Playing on a Mac if that helps.

Don’t know if I’m being incredibly stupid, but I’m managing Crawley, just began second season and when I select ‘scouting package’ nothing comes up, the screen is just grey. I have enough finances for it so I don’t know if this is a bug? I ran out of scouting money in the last season hence why it went to no package, but I have funds now. I also cannot offer a contract to absolutely anyone. On the promises page the ‘finalise promises’ button is greyed out. If I play around with the promises to change it ‘suggest promises’ then it comes active, but once clicked goes back to greyed out when it says finalise. Again, this is anyone, regardless of interest or finances. I have added a new manager at a new club and the same thing persists from the beginning. Could anyone advise if these are bugs or if I’m missing something really simple please?
