  1. My save is St Andreu in Spain. Spain requires a minimum release fee. When I signed my most talented youngsters I overpaid their wages (about 50%) to get a rediculous high release fee and a three year extension. I never had any board interference in my save. I don't know the exact game mechanic for board interference though. My point is that the release clause is often demanded by agents, but in the first negotiation of youth intake they don't have an agent yet. So you can make your weakness into a strenght. If you can negotiate 10M release your club will be ste for the future. I think clubs will pay it for this player.
  2. I thought I had a gem with Feliu Torres, but Linus is on another level.
  3. Update 12; Season 11; 2033/2034 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. This was actually an achievement from last season, but well done. Almost a goal per game is insane. Arumi is a star. We have three new official wonderkids: Porte, the central defender. Has stabilised the defence, together with our ever improving GK’s. More clean sheets this season. Also a big threat on set pieces, we have scored a lot more on corners and IFK. I think he scored about 10 goals. His composure also helps with build up play: Gonzalez, the two footed striker/AMC. Also consistent and good at big occasions. I think there are players with more upside in the pipeline, but he is performing ok for now: Eugeni, the DLP who I have trained to every possible playmaking trait. He is the first wonderkid from the 31 class. He is the all the right attributes in the right place player: Seeing Calatayud in there doesn’t surprise me, but Sjostrom did well too, now that I think about it. If they are wonderkids as well, we will have a total of eleven!!! New HoyD, we said goodbye to the HoyD we had since season 1. But this was such an enormous upgrade. He had to leave PSG, because a certain C. Ronaldo is the HoyD there now. Perfect JCA and JPA, Gegenpress and 4-2-3-1 as main style and formation. We are not complaining about his first preview: 4 Elites in the intake: Four attacking players: Torres has the best personality; Look at the acceleration already. I play with inverted wingers or IF, so perhaps I’ll retrain him to the left side. He could also be effective as a striker. At least we want him to play in a position were he can untilize his speed. Since he signed the potential stars of some of my best players have gone from 4-5 to 3,5-4, so he could be a generational talent: And sometimes you just know it’s written in the stars, I had to add some youth players on the bench to rest some starters: Sanllehi is a good AMC, not the best personality. Good dribbler, but not a great passer. Perhaps retrain him as IW or IF left. Abfalterer is a versatile midfielder from Croatia with Austrian second nationality. Very well rounded technicals and mentals. Not the greatest athlete though. Leon is a good athletic forward, great finishing and long shots. Will probably make him a striker. Misses composure, but has the “shoots with power” trait. In the semi final of the Supercopa we have finally beaten Real Madrid after 16 tries: And we won the final 2-0 against Barcelona: In the Copa del Rey we had an easy draw until the final and we beat Barcelona again in the final: Every trophy in Spain is won now, except the La Liga title. So how did we do there? We only lost to Real, Barca and Athletic who were leading for most of the season. Real and Barca lost lots of points on draws and we were comfortable in second all season. We had some games in hand most of the time and after all the cup matches were behind us I realised that if we would win the matches against the smaller clubs we would likely win the league, because all our rivals still had to play each other. We have a fantastic team to demolish smaller clubs, so we had a fantastic run: We overtook Athletic: We could lift the trophy with one game to go: We scored the most goals and only Real and Barca conceded less: This has been our progression in the Liga: A few of our players were in the team of the season: Champions League: The group phase was very comfortable, we only lost to Man City who are still formidable: Knockout stages: Dinamo was a lucky draw and Gladbach was very tired from their league matches. Liverpool was too strong at Anfield, but we kept them to a draw at home. Conclusion, we walk over most smaller clubs. But if we play the top 10 clubs in the world, we need a freak result to win, 500 games, wow. I don’t think I have ever been this deep into a save. It’s such a fun concept relying on youth players only. And I could celebrate another personal success: It’s been a while, but we could ask for better Youth Facilities. We have all the other facilities maxed out. Commercially we improved again. Finances are fine: Lot’s of new supporters: Our best line up: Arumi was the player of the season, but lot’s of good performances: Lot’s of players are called up to national teams now, very important because 2034 is a World Cup year. At the time of writing this Spain is in the final against Portugal. Barcelona Rivalry: The theme of this save is becoming the best club in Barcelona. Barcelona has beaten us twice in the league, but we won the cup finals. I think their team is still better, but they got a red card in both the cup finals. Since I took over at Sant Andreu Barca never won the league. So Sant Andreu actually won the league before Barca did. I would say that is mission accomplished. Real Dominance: Real had a new manager after the Ancelotti era. Tuchel played a different formation and Real lost a lot of points getting used to the new formation. At the end of the season Tuchel was fired. Europe: The final part of the challenge is winning the Champions League. If we can keep the team together we can still grow a bit, but Liverpool, Bayern and Man City spend 150M every year buying wonderkids in their prime. We will need some good fortune to win the CL. A good draw got me to the semi final this season. This season we improved a lot on clean sheets and set pieces. That is key to a good cup run. Also my GK probably has the most room to improve. I have read on many other saves, that when they get a better GK the results improve dramatically. Also now that the league has been won we can focus on the CL and sacrifice some league games if needed. Improving the team: Most players are on long contracts and financially I can say no to every offer. A few players like Marcal and Antoni are very influential players, but with Mercenary-like personalities. These kind of players usualy wreck the morale and teamspirit if they don't get their way. Our reputation isn’t high enough yet, so they still view Real, City and Liverpool as bigger clubs. I think I have players with bigger upside in the youth teams, if I trust my coaches star ratings. This year’s star academy recruit Torres has a full star extra potential over Marcal. Sometimes it is hard to let a good player go, but if it means improving long term I probably will have to bite the bullet. But if nobody is offering for them, I won’t let them go. The academy is almost as good as it can be, the HoyD is about the best I can wish for. So it’s just keep trying for the CL. Progress table:
  4. Update 11; Season 10; 2032/2033 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. The president decided to cash, LOL. Why do this when you have 80 million in the bank? The club vision remained the same: We sold a right back, he was near his full potential at 3 stars and I have a 5 star potential replacement ready. It made sense to move him on. Good luck at Chelsea, but I don’t think you’ll play much. But if they want to leave no point in keeping them. Real Madrid wanted my Goalkeeper. He wanted to go there by all means. He is the best GK now, but two others have more potential. 30M if you have two potentially better players is hard to say no to. I have spent the whole transfer window to keep every big club's hands of my wonderkids. I love them when they say this: This kind of messes up the pre-season, they won silver: After the Euro’s this was my inbox: Could not take any of the jobs unfortunately. Later Portugal and England also offered me jobs. We played Arsenal in the European Super Cup and almost blew a 3-0 lead. Arsenal is the highest ranked club in Europe in the save, but they were not ready for this match. This is nice as well. The goal is to overtake Van Gaal, who is leading. But every Dutch football fan knows it's impossible to pass Cruyff... Miquel Angel, from the 29 intake is officially a wonderkid too, our sixth wonderkid. I labelled him A as I thought he was the best prospect, but Agboola (B) was a Wonderkid last season already. Intake was promising again: And it didn’t disappoint again, I love how the club culture is visible in our youth prosprects. Most of our coaches have a good personality and have more often for pressing style and Gegenpress or Control possesion as tactical style. Most players have high determination, aggression, natural fitness, workrate and teamwork attributes out of the academy. I'm 10 seasons in the save and it looks like my goal of getting a club DNA has worked out: Anselm Sene is the best prospect, a full back who can run far and fast. Just a machine. Determined, Teamplayer, good tackler and good technique. Will bring quality and more depth to our defence. Lots of attributes already at La Liga level. Hicham Harti is a midfielder who can pass, is smart, works hard and has good technique. A difficult personality though. Let’s see how he will develop. Eric, also a midfielder with a little less ability on the eye test compared to Harti, has a good personality to develop. Is two footed, has a good pass, good technique, is hard working for the team. A kind of player you love to have as a teammate. Emili Naya, again a midfielder with good ability and personality, but probably more defensive than the other two. Again great technique and can take a penalty. Jan Sancho, a central defender. Very tall, brave and determined. Great tackler, good technique. Could be a great addition at centre back, where we lack depth. We also got this message three days after we signed him; This is very encouraging for his development. Alfred Cornelia, a centre back, but probably a full back with his height. Might play him as a defensive option in midfield. He is versatile, determined, good tackling and technique. Stadium expansion done: Asked for a new expansion right away. I hope they will finally put stands in the corners, I hate those open corners in stadiums. We have 34000 fans on the waiting list!!! First Spanish International. No surprise that it’s Arumi. After Nx Gen 50 and the Golden boy he is capped now. Represented 3 times in the wonderkids list: The U19’s were all conquering, they won the treble losing 3 games all season: How did the first team do this season? No transfers in, Clotet did not play 26 games for PSG, but for a junior team. Unfortunate I had to sell him, great potential with bad personality. Won't devellop enough: We were 2nd in the league, more goals scored, but more conceded as well. We control the games against weaker opponents more and more, but the top four or five teams are still too strong. It’s just poor squad management from AI managers that lets us get a CL finish. Real is still in a league of its own, but Ancelotti is retiring and the core of the team is 30+. So maybe in a few years…We sold our best GK at the start of the season and we have some high potential defenders not ready for the first team yet. Our other GK are now at the same level the sold GK was. My last legacy player and captain Mejias will go out of the rotation and his CB partner Antoni (a wonderkid) will play CM defensive to protect the two new guys who will hopefully be a pair for the next few years. They are more of a threat at set pieces, with more defensive technical quality. They just need to mature their physical and mental attributes. I hope Mejias will accept the sub rol and be a mentor for the young guys, because he has great leadership skills. We salute the goat, 12 league titles in a row with Real. Contrary to the league we did not do well in cup competitions. In the CL we just made it into the knockout play off round as no 24, where we played two good games against Porto. Then we drew Man City who were too strong. In the Copa del Rey we were surprised by Real Oviedo in the 3rd round, which is the first round we entered: In the Supercopa de Espana Real gave us another beating: Commercially a good year, with CL prize money coming in, the club has a continental rep now: The main team performed well, the back ups aren’t up to the level that is required yet. Arumi was the star of the show again. His attributes are posted earlier in this post. In the end I was voted manager of the year. Six of our players were on the bench for the team of the year. The team was dominated by Real’s players again: We gained a lot of social media following and the season ticket waiting list is up to 39622 supporters. Let’s keep expanding the stadium so they can all enjoy the matches. We are now one of the 45 best clubs in Europe: And more accolades for Arumi. young player of the year in the CL. 11 goals in 9 games is elite: We can’t take the job, but nice to be wanted. They gave the job to Tuchel. The progress sheet:
  5. Checking the intake players attributes is the most fun part of the whole challenge IMO. It's like unpacking Christmas presents every season. In most posts, it's the first thing I check.
  6. Update 10; Season 9; 2031/2032 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. We started expanding our new stadium right away. We are also upgrading the training facilities, but I forgot the screenshot. Andorra made a 4M offer which I negotiated to 15M. We settled on 12M. Arumi is clearly our best striker at 4.5*, Pluvins potential and current was 3*. I have promoted Gonzales who is 2.5* with 4-5* potential. So it was time for Pluvins to move on. Best player of the 26 generation. Wonderkid News!!!!! Villareal offered for Antoni. I rejected it, but I also saw that the media now regards him as a wonderkid. Our first one: A few months later my star striker is labelled a wonderkid as well: A few weeks after that Aureli our complete wingback followed: Marcal Followed; That makes 4 wonderkids from the 2028 intake, what a generation: Agboola is from 2029, but is a Wonderkid as well; Exceptional Youth Recruitment in Spain and in a big city like Barcelona. Quite a good combination for wonderkids. Close to Christmas this happened, LOL: Of course I declined the offers. I had another landmark to celebrate. A lot of youth caps for our guys. Only Senior Caps for Guinea Bisseau, Finland and Bulgaria. Intake looked great: And it was really good, 7 elites: Antoni Catalayud; Star of the show. He is as good as one of my two starters already, but much more suited as sweeper keeper. He will go into the rotation right away. Darlington Sanusi is a two footed advanced forward, Spanish/Nigerian Sant Andreu supporter with the best name in the intake. Alexandru Hristian; I have an affiliate in Romania, so it’s nice to see a player coming through. A decent all round midfielder, who takes a good free kick. Alfred Yeto; A DM, but he has all the attributes for a Ball Playing Defender. Unambitious, so we will have to see how he devellops. Robert Marimon; A DC with lot’s of promise, but Casual personality will devellop. Will need lot’s of Mentoring. Jofre Julve: A complete wingback for the right side. We have plenty of good players in our academy for his position. We will see. Alfred Planaguma; Ball playing defender. Half a star less potential than the others have and not the tallest player we have. But he makes up for it being two footed and a perfectionist. So he will probably develop well, either as a ball playing defender or as a midfielder. These are all the players that were signed: We lost the Copa del Rey final again, Real Madrid looks unbeatable. Because we lost last year's final to Real Madrid, who won the Liga, we could participate in the Supercopa. We beat Barca on penalties in the semi’s and Villarreal in the final. A first minor trophy. Our first season in Europe went fantastic, we only lost one game to Juventus. The final was a thriller. Athletic equalised in the final second with nine men, but we won on penalties. The group round was full of easy wins and even in the knock out stages we never looked in trouble. Sicart was young player of the season: Also our defence was in the squad of the season: In the league we also did well and qualified for the Champions League. That will be a lot tougher. We are still way off the likes of Real, City, Bayern or PSG. Our defenders and GK have improved a lot. We only conceded 34. Two seasons ago we conceded 89 goals. I think we are two defenders, a midfielder and a few more years of improving for challenging the top teams. The season review: Transfers: Improvements commercially: Team of the season: Arumi with 29 goals set a new record, but the 15 clean sheets by Alonso make me even happier. We gained lot’s of new supporters: The board expects a mid table finish next season, the squad is getting stronger. More plans: The U19’s are National champs again. The two top performers are ready for the first team. They are almost as good as the players who start, but it looks like they will develop better. Probably I’m going to accept some offers for really good performing players. It hurts a little, but I think it’s the only way forward. I hope we can keep the wonderkids. Most of them have signed new contracts with the max 548M release clause. Sometimes if they really want to leave you can’t sacrifice the team spirit, but I hope we can keep them now we play CL.
  7. Update: It will be Europa League in stead of Conference League:
  8. Update 9; Season 8; 2030/2031 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. A bit sad that a few legacy players had to leave, Ouchouia has been a crowd favourite. How lucky have I been with them that they could be effective all the way up to La Liga: Also Morer has retired, our star player in the early seasons: What a great player has he been for us, Pau Morer we salute you: Team of the year every season: Our other legend Tito had a testimonial match in what will be his last season. Of course we played Barcelona: I had a landmark to celebrate myself: Our kids are doing well: Another 3 players in the NXGen list: Also another strong looking intake: 7 elites were signed: Best of the bunch; Retrained as a Shadow striker. 18 Finishing already. Complete Wingback? A Deep Lying Playmaker Another winger in our impressive collection A DC who will be a great threat at set pieces. 16 heading already. A GK, it will take a while before we know how good he is. Most important attributes are close to double digits. Too small for a CB, but perhaps a good Full Back, for left and right side. U19’s won their group again. We have played our last game in the old stadium: End of season review: We didn’t sign anyone, duh… We had an excellent start winning the first four games. Then we got some stronger teams and we were between 6th and 10th all season. In the first few weeks after the winter break we were strong as usual. The cup matches and euro knockout stages make the opposing managers play a lot of unfit players and we rotate the squad every game. We conceded 56 goals and scored 79. Last season we conceded 44 against just the top 5 teams. So we will play in Europe for the first time. We had a relatively easy draw in the Copa del Rey and got to the final: We lost the final to Real Madrid who are in god mode this save, we didn’t even get a shot on target: 10 League wins in a row, Ancelotti is leading the Hall of Fame. We have played Real 6 times and we haven’t even scored a goal. Real dropped points in just 6 games this season. I think I have a very strong squad, which is developing well. But if I’m ever gonna win this league, Ancelotti will have to retire, LOL. We didn’t score as much as we could have, but we also should have conceded a few more. We probably ended up where we should be. Commercially we are still doing better: Our best eleven: Both our GK are developing and it really helped with keeping us in games, we play a high risk high reward game and it really suits Alonso. The star of the season was Eric Arumi, who looks to be our first Spanish international player. I had some questions about it at press conferences. 22 goals, player of the season: Another year of growth in supporters, over 100k social media followers and 12000 fans on the season ticket waiting list: Expectations are the same, fine with that. Our best players: Arumi, developing into a great all round striker. He is still 19 so hopefully he’ll develop further. His CA and PA stars are highest on the team, so the staff don’t know his ceiling yet. He was 2nd on the Nx Gen list. Marcal, a creative winger. 3rd on the NxGen list: Most assists this season. Wanted by Villareal, but has signed a new contract with 100M+ release clause. Ferreyra: Our third player in the NxGen list. Not so impressive with average rating and attributes yet, but I don’t think fullback and wing backs ever are unless they take set pieces. He still can grow quite a lot. Antoni: Our Ball Playing defender from the 28 class. Helped tremendously with build up play, but gets bullied by tall strikers so his ratings are a bit underwhelming. A great player when we dominate the game, but needs some work if we are under pressure. Agboola was on last years NxGen list. He keeps developing like there is no tomorrow. I see him as Sant Andreu’s N’Golo Kante: Aureli is our most impressive player attribute wise: He is a complete wingback, but his ratings are a bit underwhelming as well. According to the staff there is still at least half a star of development coming up. Aureli was also from the 28 class, so we can really speak of a golden generation. Alonso (also 28 class) had a fine season. Although I have two GK with more potential according to the staff, he really has the right attributes at the right place: The future looks bright, but it will take a while before we can take on Real and of course Barcelona. We have 50 million in the bank, all good players are on new contracts with ridiculous release fees. We are also moving into a new stadium next season. The board hasn’t allowed me to further improve training facilities and the youth facilities improvement has disappeared. Unfortunately my safe also has this bug. I’m not too worried about it, because we have plenty of good developing players to do well in the league and in Europe.
  9. Update 8; Season 7; 2029/2030 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. These are the better messages… And our welcome to La Liga moment: Very encouraging, Antoni is already in the U23’s at 18 years old. The 2028 class has 4 players in Spanish youth teams now; Did not see this one coming; On deadline day Chelsea came for our striker, who is one of our star graduates from 2027. I have plenty of options going forward so I decided to pull the trigger. Not a bad call, considering Arumi, the star striker from 2028, did this a few weeks later: Ok, so we might have a wonderkid on our hands. And I hoped I had seen the last of this: The Youth intake preview was excellent: 7 elites: Homet is already 2,5* CA. Can go straight into the rotation, fast dribbler, can cross the ball, can finish attacks and is good at set pieces. I think the best prospect we have ever had, can be very efficient as an inverted winger from the right. Porte is the tall BPD we need. He will love the corners from Homet. Will be in the first team right away. All the tools are there, 17 tackling, 12 marking, 15 jumping. Heading and positioning need some work. 12 first touch, 10 passing and 13 composure will make him essential in our build up play: Clotet is a fine playmaker and teamplayer, with decent stamina, aggression and natural fitness to be effective in our pressing. Positioning and anticipation need to develop. Gonzalez is a two footed versatile attacking player. Will train him as a striker. I have a few players who can play AMC and SC. In my tactic I can set them to swapping positions and make our attacking play even more unpredictable. Artiga looks like a fine GK, with a resolute personality. Not quite the sweeper keeper, but developing takes a while with GK anyway. We’ll see. The whole intake, lot’s of Sant Andreu supporters and they all love our youth backroom staff: The season was a success, because we stayed up quite comfortably. As always we were potent in attack and shaky in defence. We are 5th with goals scored but last with goals conceded. We conceded 10 from Real, 8 from Barca, 8 from Sociedad, 9 from Atletico and 7 from Villareal. That’s 44 goals just in the 10 matches against the top 5. The other 44 goals we conceded in the 28 other matches. We drew once against Valencia and Celta at the end of the season. The only team from the top 10 we have beaten was Athletic, but they got a red card after 25 minutes. All our good results came against the lower ranked teams playing at home. The visiting team tends to sit back and let us have the ball, which really plays into our strengths. Against the top teams we don’t see much of the ball and that punishes us. The GK, fullbacks, midfield and attack has plenty of growth, but our CD’s don’t develop anymore, so I hope Porte will help us out with that. Our still developing attack scored 69 goals, that’s the same as the teams in the top 5 bar Real who were dominant. The best players: Miguel Angel; Last season's top prospect. Broke into the team after Garrido was sold, scored 5 in 11 games from the wing. Can still develop further is just at 3*CA and could still be 5*, because he is still 16. Robert: A playmaker, just so exciting to watch. I love the combination of technique, vision and flair. Broke into the first team this season. 6 assists and 5 goals from 18 games and still only 17. Not sure if he will get much better, but has performed very well. Eric Sicart was the heart of the team in midfield, 5 assists and 6 goals. Just a good all round player. His personality turned into Perfectionist and with 16 leadership will be a great mentor. His technical skill will probably be surpassed by our new generation, but he will be in the team for a while. Gratacos was the GK from last year's intake. Nowhere near La Liga level, but already our best GK. GKI’s develop slower so the green arrows are encouraging. Eric Arumi scored 5 in one match, looks like our best player attribute wise. He was very inconsistent. He improved a lot already, but I think there is still some growth in him. Aureli, our complete wingback. I hope for some more technical improvement, but physically and mentally he is close to La Liga level. Overview: We did not sign anyone… In the Copa del Rey Real Madrid put another 4 past our GK. Commercially we improved again: How we lined up, the defence was poor: The Accolades: The fanbase keeps growing. The vision remained the same: The future of our club looks good as our U19’s won their group for the first time, beating Barca U19. And went on to win it all!!! Save progress:
  10. I'm in La Liga at season 7, exceptional JC an YR. YF is at good, but the option to upgrade has dissapeared. It certainly not a lack of money or coaches. TF are at good and upgrading now to (I think) superb.
  11. In my save the board injected some cash once in a while. Financial issues stopped when I got to La Liga 2; there is 6M of tv money waiting for you there.
  12. Player Development, HoyD and Facilities testing In the Zealand Discord there is a separate channel for FM research. In this channel I have been talking to a user called Kelron. He is quite proficient with data and visualizing it. I asked some questions and he gave some answers with data. With his permission I’m sharing the data here. Perhaps you don’t want to know so I’m hiding the research as a spoiler. It’s always hard to separate correlation and causation, but I think quite some things can be learned. If someone wants to take this post and stick it somewhere else or on other websites that’s fine. Most important questions for our style of playing: Which countries/clubs generate the best CA/PA newgens? What attributes/data correlate with player development? How much influence do the facilities have on CA and PA of players? How much influence does the HoyD have on CA/PA of players? Which HoyD attributes are most important? Does HoyD personality influence players personality?
  13. Update 7; Season 6; 2028/2029 Sant Andreu: A Dutch manager in Barcelona “Go out and enjoy” In this save we stick it to the Barca board and try to recreate a La Masia CL winning Cruyff dream team just ten km away from Nou Camp. After some tough negotiations last seasons sale of our star centre back for 3.4M has been invested: Our next star player got sold. 5M is a lot of money for this player. We will reinvest in the facilities. The squad wasn’t happy though. But I said we won’t miss him and give the youth players a chance… Financials are very solid. The players with the two biggest wages have been sold for a combined 8.6M. Because of the good financials I have slightly overpaid my top prospects so they will be registrable for La Liga 2 and La Liga. The promotion % raise will get them above €155.000 a year. Overpaying them also lets them agree with 10-30 Million release clauses. So let the upgrading begin: Youth facilities are at Good and Training facilities are at Great end of season. I forgot to take some of the screenshots. Youth Development is getting better and better. The youth recruitment and coaching are at the same level as any club in Spain. And with the talent pool Spain has we’ll just need time to develop. Our U19’s have beaten Barcelona for the first time: We had some youth call ups for Morocco and Bulgaria, but this is the first one for Spain. I truly believe last year's crop is a true golden generation. Aureli is a complete wingback. During the cup season we ran into some injuries and our 16 years old GK personally FMed Osasuna. And more and more players are in National youth teams, Aureli did not get a call up this time: Both YR and JC are maxed out at exceptional now and it showed in the intake preview: The intake did not disappoint, three of the prospects have two stars CA: Our ageing star player Morer is at 2.5* CA now. Our development flywheel is unstoppable from here. Best prospects: Miquel Angel, will be AML as an inverted Winger. Professional, leader, quick and a good finisher. He’ll be a great mentor in 5 or 6 seasons. Agboola: A Driven physical specimen, two footed. Will hopefully bring some defensive balance to our midfield. I hope he will develop technically. Gratacos, A GK. Not a good personality, but most important attributes are already or almost double digits. Puigvert and Mendoza are forwards who look excellent, but not per se better than last season's top prospects. Our attack will be deep in a few seasons, but both need some mentoring. Will train them to be as versatile as possible as IW of SC. Perhaps even SS. The other elites hopefully will add some depth to our wing defense, but we’ll have to see how they develop. The season went very well: We are into La Liga next season!!! We did not sign any players of course. Minguez, as mentioned earlier, was sold for 5 million and did at Zaragoza. Ribo only got off the bench twice. That’s a bad 3,4M spent by Malaga. We won the league quite comfortably in the end. I noticed the AI isn’t able to field 11 fit and sharp players. Especially at season start, around international weekend and after Christmas at least 8 out of 11 players aren’t match fit or lacking sharpness. Our morale was sky high and we kept possession a lot better after the update. In the few games where we did not dominate possession, we were in big trouble. I hope our style of play will translate to La Liga, but I think we’ll be dominated by the top half of the team. Let’s see if we can keep morale up. The Copa del Rey went as expected. We have beaten two lower league sides, but Atletico was much too strong. Commercially we have improved as well. The best eleven. 3 of the best performers are legacy players who were 16 when I took over. I’m lucky with how they developed. I have rotated between two full squads all season. Most players were between 2,5 and 4 stars CA, so I took the opportunity to keep everyone fit, sharp and develop the youngsters. I made our pitch max dimensions and made every match into an energy wasting dogfight. As said earlier most teams were not optimally prepared when they played us and we capitalized on that beautifully. Tito was the best player, he scored a goal every 100 minutes and was often our joker of the bench when the other team was worn down. He has the records for most games played and most goals scored. Mejias, our captain, was the rock in defense. He had the top rating. Both are legacy players. We gained some new fans on social media. The boards vision is exactly what the doctor ordered: Our current stadium isn’t up to La Liga standards, so we’ll build a new one: And the board offered me a new contract: Progress:
