The agreement, signed in Korea by KTH Allstar and SI’s parent company SEGA®, will create a joint development environment with Sports Interactive and KTH’s development teams already working together on the game which will be tailored for the South East Asian market.

As a result of the deal, Sports Interactive’s Football Manager Live team has doubled in size, with one part of the team concentrating on gameplay for Football Manager Live, one part concentrating on gameplay for Football Manager Online, working with KTH to fully understand the Asian market and model, and a third part who will work on technology on both games, who will also work very closely with KTH’s engineers who will be putting the server technology together for the project.

The development team will be based in both KTH’s studio in Seoul, and Sports Interactive’s studio in London, with some of the KTH team moving over to London for a large part of the development process. The game should be released towards the end of 2011 first in the Korean market, with versions likely for other Asian markets to follow afterwards.

“We’ve prepared a separate team made up of Korea’s topnotch developers for the joint development of Football Manager Online,” KTH Game Business Department Director Yunjung Seong stated. “We will do our best to be acknowledged not only for our publishing expertise, but also our game development capabilities through this agreement.”

“We’re delighted to be working with the team that KTH have put together for the project” said Miles Jacobson, Studio Director of Sports Interactive. “Since the signing of the deal, we’ve learnt so much from both the business and development teams at KTH about the South Korean market, and we’re very excited about what we can achieve by working closely together with them and their hugely talented engineers to make the perfect online football management game for the region.”

I'm a usual player of FM2010, but I used to play FMLive last year for a couple of months before closing my subscription however I am planning on returning today and I was thinking of playing 4-4-2 with 2 DM's on returning back...but was wondering on what people's thought would be on this. Now, I play on a very rigid setting and look to get goals from the counter attack. Would closing down be needed or more rarely ? And depending on the defend roles, I understand 3 defend roles are needed in the tactics to maintain balance, does FMLive understand this ?

I've kinda worked out how to get the best out of my defenders, wingers and striker but always seem to struggle to get really good performances out of my midfield, less so my AMC (who I think is just inconsistent) but my MC and my DMC never seem to get above 6.8 unless they score or assist.

Anyone have any hints to get them to perform a little better and break into the dizzy heights of 7's? In all matches this season, 57% won, 18% Drawn, 25% lost

But in the league... won 4 drawn 4 lost 7

Now, I'm not losing by much, which actually makes it more frustrating in a way, scored 23 and conceded 25

Does feel like I'm stuck in a pattern which started before kick-off in the first league game (1st season in this FA btw)

I started with the basic 4-5-1 while strong in midfield and wings, my striker wasnt good enough and was drawing too many so I changed a few things.

Moved AML to FC, moved LB to WBL moved MC to amc. I now have wing play, 3 in midfield and 2 strikers. I then tried this out in FM10 and was killing with Liverpool.

GK- defend
WBL- wingback- Attack (cross from deep)
DC- Central defender- defend
DC- Central defender- defend
RB- full back- support
CM- cental midfeilder- defend
CM-central midfielder- attack
AMC- Attacking midfielder- support (long shots rarely)
AMR- winger-support
FC- Target man- attack
FC- Poacher- Attack

Team settings
More rigid
Control
everything else= default

No OI's
No shouts

In game I may move my CM- def to DM If i notice that through balls are too much of a threat but other wise seems pretty strong and stable
