Junior GUI Programmer



Overview



Entry-level development position focussing on User Interface design



Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with improving and maintenance of our User Interface
  • Work with Developers and Artists concurrently



    Knowledge, Skills and Experience



  • Good University qualifications including C/C++ modules
  • Comfortable with GUI design and implementation
  • Examples of own work in GUI or skinning essential

    I can do advanced graphics work using Photoshop, though I am like 15... so have no CV. Would you still be willing to accept me if I was to supply samples?

    I thought you were talking about an upper age limit because they are listed as junior positions (and according to your profile you are a lot older than 12 Wink )

    You have to be over 16 to work full time in the UK I'm afraid.

    My gradad is 92 & just graduated from uni with a degress in computer engineering (he was a retired pharmacist). Would he fit in with SI bearing in mind his age?

    considering SI couldn't descriminate against age then as long as he has demonstrated his skills to a high enough level and he's capable of fitting in with the team on a personality level then yes.

    How do half of the people posting on here expect they would be suitable for a job with SI, when i just keep reading questions from people asking things which are all covered in the very first post?

    If they cant even read properly, then how the hell do they think SI (or anyone else for that matter) is gona employ them? Roll Eyes
