I know they market the hell out of the adictivity level of a game as a positive thing for a game to have. I really am addicted though. I don't have any control over this game, it has control over me.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing, and if so, how does it affect your life?

I was, until my game crashed in April 2008...

I can't say I'm "addicted", but it has become a comfortable rutine for me to play every morning while drinking my morning coffee, plus the occasional time killing during the day.

Despite what my current game's addictiveness rating says, I don't find the game that addictive altogether. I keep coming back, but I get bored with it for a while if I play too much all at once.

Long lasting, good replay value, but not very addictive. A fine combination.

I play the game in phases.... for one period of time it will be all I do in my free time, then for I'll go weeks without even touching it. So I think my addiciton is under control.

During the playoffs, trade deadline, draft, pre-season and free agency period I cannot stop playing but it takes a while to get through a regular season as I don't play it as often then.

I've just found I prefer my own team I made in this game rather than following the real NHL anymore.

Im so addicted that when I cant play (like now, at work), I spend my time on the forum (Its been maybe 7 hours that Im on it today, Im a part time security guard). I wish I had a laptop.

And im now in the 2073-2074 season...

I used to be addicted. But I've now reached that point where I've just about seen it all. There's no longer anything to keep me guessing(and thus, addicted).

I start it up for a minute or two here and there, but that's about it.

Put it this way I should be studying for a french test I have tommorow!!!!!!!!!!
