Failed work permit - what happens if I do nothing?

Recommended Posts

Signed Rabiu Ibrahim based on the "new Okocha" tag he got from Four Four Two. At £45,000 it seemed a steal. However, he has (predictably) failed to get a WP. As Bolton the only affiliated clubs I have are in Ireland, China, and Spain . . . not the Belgian club one would hope. Am I better off leaving him in my U18 squad and re-applying for the WP with a new contract? Or should I ship him to my feeder in Spain? If he says no, what options do I have?

i`d try to send him to the feeder club in spain and keep trying to another feeder club for WP issues and if he wont go you just have to leave him in reserves until hes being in GB 5 years so he can then play for you or sell him as you wont be able to offer a new contract until he has got a WP

spain takes 4 years. poland and belgium take 3 years.

For South Americans it takes only two years in Spain.

OT, better to send him to Spain to get games so he will be called up for Internationals, which may result in getting a WP, but be sure he gets games to the team you loan him to.
