eatontj Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 I downloaded FM 2009 from this thread here: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=84039 and in the thread it says: "These versions can be paid for online, and contain the latest 9.2.0 code and database." I've installed the game from the download, and I'm stuck at the SoftAnchor activation code part of the install. I want to know where to go to purchase the code. I went the download route this year for FM because I need to be able to play without the CD (I travel frequently with the laptop and don't want to carry disk with me), but without the CD I don't know from where to get the code... any help? If there is a better solution, I'm glad to try. Here is what I'm hoping to do: 1. Play game without CD. 2. Play game without having to be connected to internet on a frequent basis. 3. Not have to install any extra software that work wouldn't want on my laptop. (Is STEAM a problem? Is SoftAnchor a problem?) Thanks for the help, sorry if this has been answered already, but searching gave so many results for all sorts of problems that I couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks again. eatontj Posted February 6, 2009 Author Share Posted February 6, 2009 Ha. I must have done something outside the grid. I never gave my email address or signed up in any way. I just clicked on the PC 9.2.0 download through the link (http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=84039) and it started a torrent. Once the torrent completed I ran the setup file and installed the game. When I went to play (and activate) game, it asked me for my activation code... which is where I'm stuck.
