ahmufcwafc
Yes, it is possible to manage both a club & a nation at the same time. Not sure what you're asking though to be honest.
Zebedee77
Yeah, manager of Wales and Newport County at the same time after my first season. I'd imagine that to get the England job so soon that you've got your previous experience set as former International player though?
Wee Aja
Does it not take up an awful lot of time, seeing as what would normally be International breaks are now work?
ahmufcwafc
Does it not take up an awful lot of time, seeing as what would normally be International breaks are now work? Not really, you need to put a bit more work in, but nothing major.
rberbe2002
this is nothing. i applied for the senegal job and norway job straight from game start. got offered both. as said above its probs going on player career setting. although this is not realistic. wyrley_saddler
I was manager of Walsall (2015-2025) and England (2018-2025) at the same time
Crpls
as said above its probs going on player career setting. although this is not realistic. van Basten? It probably shouldn't happen as often as it can in FM (I'd imagine not many other nations aside from Holland would've taken van Basten on without experience--or moreso, the others that would, van Basten probably wouldn't want to coach anyway.) wyrley_saddler
Stuart Pearce did it with Man City & England U21's in real life

oTRUTHo
im manager of scotland & real madrid. & the scotland job is a welcome relax time away from a hectic season of club football. when the national games come you can almost feel the release . anyway you should try & manage just the national side for a thew seasons, theres only rougthly 10 games a season & if your lucky theres a competition every 2nd season. if you get fed up of this game? then thats what u should do. What's wrong with being offered both? If you got to manage both, that would unrealistic. There have been many examples of managers doing well managing both a club and international team, so of course it's possible, Hiddink is probably the most obvious example. Nomis07
kevin Keegan, Fulham & England Trying to say that Keegan managed either of those teams is a real stretch tbh
magicratx
got Fulham promoted from the the 2nd division (old 2nd devision, league 1 now), did a good job as well
Jolly Mongrel
Now this is unrealistic ... Terry Venables managed Portsmouth, (& Chairman) and Austrailia at the same time ... now Oz is other side of world ... no wonder they failed to qualify for World Cup (losing playoff to Iran) .... oh and eventually left with Portsmouth bottom of D1 and in danger of bankruptcy .... Maybe there is a lesson here.
