gufc21 Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 okay picture this your one nill down in a cup game and you decide to throw everything forward, keeping the 442 shape. your winger makes a break down the touchline with the ball but the forwards don't make any effort to get into the box and seem to be hanging around the D, hence, the winger crosses the ball to an empty box.
