madmac111 Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I currently have it on a desktop, but my brother is taking that away to university, but also have a fairly new laptop that i have said that i will try to keep in good working order. stokes_83 Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I had 2 decent laptops nothing great but decent for other applications....but not so for FM 09. It has in fact torched 2 motherboards because the game would literally run the machine to 100% CPU usage the entire time making the laptop really hot if you played for a couple hours and it eventually resulted in broken machines. I thought Microsoft was bad for making software that hogged resources and demanded a lot of your PC, but it is no where close to what SI does. SlayerX Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 It really depends on the specs. I have 4 gigs of RAM and a processor speed of 2.60 GHz Football Manager 2009 flies on my machine.
