Football manager on a laptop

Recommended Posts

I currently have it on a desktop, but my brother is taking that away to university, but also have a fairly new laptop that i have said that i will try to keep in good working order. If i install FM09 on it will it really mess it up and make it really slow?

I had 2 decent laptops nothing great but decent for other applications....but not so for FM 09. It has in fact torched 2 motherboards because the game would literally run the machine to 100% CPU usage the entire time making the laptop really hot if you played for a couple hours and it eventually resulted in broken machines.

I thought Microsoft was bad for making software that hogged resources and demanded a lot of your PC, but it is no where close to what SI does. It is actually kind of ridiculous how poorly this game performs on most regular PC's.
