Good free kick taker is it worth it

In all the seasons I have played my team has probably not netted more than one or two freekicks. As I have to get a new team for next season anyway I was thinking of perhaps making it half a priority to find a good player with a good freekick attribute, but in the end will it be worth it. How are people with good freekick takers experiencing this?

Ye, i havent scored ANY goals for direct freekicks so far in 2 seasons at bournmouth, really strange but i just simply dont have the ability to score, last season the team with the most amount of dfk's scored was 3 which was league 2, in the premiership it was 15 i think!

When you get into the higher leagues you can attract players who have good free kick skill along with good passing/crossing etc.

Thing with having a good Free Kick skill is i think they need good composure too and perhaps good long shots.. something tells me those things help each other out when the game decides if you'll score or not. Like Finishing and Composure do.

I can probably get a player with good other stats aswell as good free kick taking. I just never paid any attention to that attribute before.

My leftback who scored around 5 goals per season with the 9.1.0 engine hasn't scored a single free kick since I updated my game.

I've not been having any problems with scoring from DFKs.

My best FK rating is 19, he's a striker(don't want to name names... Benfica Striker).

Put about 5 in, last season. Turned into a good investment, eventually.

get a freekick taker above 16, combinded with longshots and crossing. you will notice it then

for my arsenal game i signed a certain youngster from italy, free kick 19, he scored 12 of them in his first season, quite a substantial help to winning the league, many of them were important match winning ones

I have a left back with 20 free kick taking and he scored 2

Srna, for my Shakhtar team scored 18 goals in my first season, so it is worth it , in my opinion but it matters what league you are playing in.

I've made a superteam with the likes of Ronaldo and others with very high free kick attributes. Even so, I score very few free kicks each season. It does seem to be 'undercoded' in this edition.

Well I'm in the middle of the cirkus to find myself yet a new team for next season so I guess I can add it to the list. Always fun when you have to change out 2/3 of the squad each season, since the players you got are ravaging over not being allowed to move to a team a division or two down.
