Ashley_Tofte
This option has gone in 2009 (i'm pretty sure) and i for one would love to have it back as i find it sillly to have players injured for 2 months and them getting unhappy at being in my reserve team, anyone else agree this should be brought back? Katarian
Why not jsut keep them in first team squad and flag them as available for reserve team action. It is no where near as useful for injured players as send to reserves until match fit which I would like back as well.
MrPompey
Leave them as first team players but make them available for reserve games. When fit to play they will be selected by the reserve team manager and over time you'll see their fitness stat improve. Remaining in the first team squad will prevent them getting unhappy. Its the same for other players. They may not get first team action so if you make them available at least they are getting match fitness opportunity
phnompenhandy
It hasn't really gone, it's just changed it's form. Now you can opt to have a first teamer available for the reserves, and if you select the reserve line-up, make sure he plays. Then when he's match fit cancel the 'available for reserves' option. Before each reserve fixture your assman tells you which first teamers are selected and which aren't. Frankly, it's a lot more cumbersome than the old system, but it is there of a sort.
