bigwills88 Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 I just did the double over Inter for what seemed like the hundredth time a minute ago so thought I'd check our past meetings to get an idea of the what the record actually is. Well, since I took over at Verona in 2013 (then in Serie B) I have faced them 8 times, beating them on 6 occasions and losing twice. Now I'm a strong team in Serie A finishing 5th, 6th, 4th & 3rd consecutively since promotion but this is a funny record seeing as I rarely take points from the likes of Milan, Juve* and Roma. What a nice little record against one of the big boys. Inter 3:0 Verona (4/10/14) Verona 2:0 Inter (15/2/15) Verona 1:0 Inter (24/1/16) Inter 1:2 Verona (15/5/16) Inter 1:0 Verona (1/10/16) Verona 2:0 Inter (25/2/17) Verona 2:1 Inter (14/1/18) Inter 0:2 Verona (6/5/18) * Having said that I did just complete my first double over Juve this season after failing to beat them in 8 previous matches. backpackant Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 On FM09 I rarely struggle against Liverpool when I'm a bigger team, say Newcastle or Villa. Usually a win or draw. In my dull - now abandoned - Man City save I never lost against Arsenal in three seasons, despite the strange favourable weighting - I think I just get lucky due to the injury list.
