devlin1985
I've just got Luton into the Prem in 2016 and asked for a second stadium expansion (currently at 12500), however, they said the council would never allow it due to lack of space. I checked the editor and it said maximum capacity is 20,000. If we stay up for the next couple of seasons, or even go down and back up again, as long as we're selling out the gates, would they build a new stadium? Has anyone had this happen? Glenn Wakeford
They will build a new stadium when they have the money and are confident that it will be filled out. It can sometimes take a while, so be patient.
Some Guy!
Okay then, how long would I have to wait from here: Derby - Pride Park: 45,000 Average attendance for Premier League season was a casual 44,978. The club has around £120 mil in the bank. I've been in this situation for 3-4 years.

Glenn Wakeford
There is no specific time fram that is followed, it depends entirely on the board at your club.

Gunnapaul
£120m is not a lot of money for a new stadium.

MrPompey
With 9.2 at Portsmouth the owner sold and an existing board member bought the club Oct 2008. I couldn't expand the stadium due to Council planning permission. New Chairman announced a new 28k groound at end of 2010. Sold existing ground for 10 million, borrowed 30 million over about 20 years and built new ground as promised. First time I've seen this
