Clark123
I can't belive this just happened to me. I was winning against Liverpool 2-1 in the 88th min when Reina scores from outside his box! Is this some sort of bug or was i just extremely unlucky?
wyrley_saddler
I'd say it was extremely unlucky. Don't think it is a bug as it doesn't happen often. it is abit realistic as goalkeepers do occasionally score. E.g. Paul Robinson for Spurs V Watford or Paul Robinson for Leeds V Swindon
Clark123
They occasionaly score of corners but not directly from a kick.

CrashOverride
Have you patched to 9.0.2?
arsenal_2111
Have you patched to 9.0.2? Why would it matter? It's not going to be a bug, as it's a rare thing just like it is irl... It's only if it happens often we should about a bug.
uppercut
i've had a goal from just outside the keeper's own area, leo franco earnt his wages that day

Well he scored for me in the same situation in 9.0.1 byut hasnt in 10 seasons since 9.0.2 so I was just curious? In that case, it happens! Not quite Chilavert I say though:D
pyewackett
Nice, sure my keeper keeps passing to the strikers, just one day. Maybe just one day m keeper will score from hoofing it upfield. One of my players scored from delivering a corner I was pleased as pucnh when that happend.
Indi75
Yeah Fabio Aurelio has a delightful habit of curling the ball in from the corner flag. 3 times in a season now, not really a bug, just noone gets head to it and he curls it a lot.
Pacman Jones
I have had it happen to me too, Petr Cech thumped 5-0 at the bridge
Tyler
Thats like getting kicked in the dick. Hull City up 2-1 over Liverpool and the goalkeeper scores in the 89th minute to tie it up.
Dale Gribble
My regen keeper just scored for me yesterday, hoofed the ball from the edge of his own area, a couple of players went to head it and missed, and it bounced and caught out the Man City keeper and went in/ Commentators said it was a freak goal, so it cuold have been coded in on purpose. hilton210916
To the OP you should feel really let down as either N'gog or Babel is offside if you look at the pics, the assistant must be blind
Neopherus
To the OP you should feel really let down as either N'gog or Babel is offside if you look at the pics, the assistant must be blind they weren't involved in creating or scoring the goal, though. So it really shouldn't matter.
William Hall
Realistic IMO look at Dudek for Poland
Lung
Eh I think you mean Tomasz Kuszczak. He's the Polish keeper that got scored on by the Columbian keeper.
Some Guy!
They occasionaly score of corners but not directly from a kick. It does happen occasionally... Paul Robinson springs immediately to mind.

I'll post a screenie when im at home.
happy slappy
They occasionaly score of corners but not directly from a kick. They do, I've seen it happen on TV quite a few times.
IWWROCKS
In Brazil, goalkeepers often run up the other end of the pitch and take a freekick...so they definately do score them
woody_is_bored
There was a Paraguayan keeper called José Luis Chilavert who was a free kick specialist - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jos%C3%A9_Luis_Chilavert He scored 62 goals in his career!! Also, I remember Steve Ogrizovic scoring from his own area sometime in the 80's.
trueblue79
Torres and Ngog are the two strikers and when the ball bounces in the box Torres' name comes above his head so does that mean he interferred with play? I'll post a screenie when im at home. They can only be ruled offside if they interfere with play or an opponent. It can't be the latter and FA rules state you can only be deemed interfering with play if you actually touch the ball, so no offside there. Its a kick in the nuts, but it does happen. rotku
I had one disallowed for offside after my keeper belted it from our half and straight into the back of the net over their keeper (considering his normal accuracy with his kicking it was definately a fluke). My striker was nowhere near the ball yet he was blown for offside so I assumed it was a bug, maybe it was just bad officiating!!

Clark123
Heres the screenie i promised you. As you can see, Torres is very close to the ball and his name comes up but does this mean he's interfiering? Thoughts?
