What are the causes for players failing to learn preferred moves? I can't seem to successfully get a player to actually learn a move, all it seems to do is waste 20 per cent of 6 months worth of training.

iirc it has something to do with their versality/adaptibilty, if this is to low they will not. I got about half of my players to succeed of learning a new move.

that's annoying, so we just have to hope that a hidden stat is high? also, does it harm their long term stat progression is you get them to learn a new move?

i have had 2 accepting to do it, and one learning it. Its to do with adaptability and willingness to learn it

possibly have something to do with their workrate attribute as well

Far too many refuse to learn a new PPM, refuse to work with a legend, or end up having learned nothing and sending morale crashing. It's very frustrating!

Especially irritating as the news item doesn't say which PPM he's been trying to learn...

IIRC I once had a player stop learning it because a week after I asked him to learn it he got a serious injury, so it was cancelled.
