Do SI update player stats for Jan window patches

I can't remember from last year.

Also I think it would be nice if if you started in Jan you get the league table at the time.

I think they do - but im not sure what the implications are on saved games - can anyone clarify?

You wont get the up-to-date tables, and the transfers will be there but won't be up-to-date unless you start a new game, for obvious reasons.

i think he meant as in people who have proven better than there stats at start of season, ie rafael at man utd. I think these will be updated yes. im sure they were last year.

Player attributes are often tweaked in patches, as the researchers don't always get it spot on or the player proves himself to be better than expected during the season

Reading through the data issues forum should give you some indication of who and what may be changed in any upcoming patch

So do the attributes only change on new games - because surely it would disrupt people's saved games if the attributes changed on saved games ?

To use the updated database, you will have to start a new game and choose to use the new databases from the dropdown, the players will be in the squads from the beginning of the season not January

I'm not too sure on this one, I would think that some tweaks would apply to a save game but, I imagine, that most of the changes would take affect only in a new game

Lol, sorry about looking like an angry pedant, but people saying stats when they mean attributes is one of my weird annoyances that occur a lot on these forums, nothing against you mate

Save game attributes aren't affected by patches, because attributes are stored in the database. I suppose it'd be odd on a long-term save when one of your old players suddenly gets the stats he had as younger player again.
