View Full Version : Stadium expansion advice
I know within the game that a stadium's expansion capacity is limited to a set number. If you move to a new stadium do you get higher max capacity for your shiny new ground? Or is a new stadium based on the original max capacity of the old one?
Its a randomly generated figure. It isnt based on your old stadium at all. Wold be a bit silly if your new stadium had the same capacity as your old one really!
Thanks for the reply and yes, it does sound a silly question when you phrase it like that! But I believe that each club has a maximum attendance figure (independent of the size of your current stadium) . Would that increase if I got a new stadium? Or would the fact that I am approaching the maximum attendance figure stop me getting a new stadium? I guess I'm asking is the maximum attendance figure for a club, (not a stadium) fixed?
I would imagine its not fixed as people have taken BS N/S to european glory. I cant see them doing that on a attendance of 500. As your reputation increases ans you become more sucessfull your maximum attendance will increase.
Thanks again for the prompt reply, I am indeed someone who relishes getting BSN/S teams to European glory, but before I spend about 2 weeks (of game time) doing that I would like to know for sure! :)
Dafuge's Challenge (http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=62170&page=90) An entire thead detailings peoples adventures in doing just that. Im sure you will find the answer in there somewhere!
Ahhh, thanks very much, I'll have a good trawl!
got Farsley Celtic into the Prem and finally got the stadium expanded (for the first time, mind you) to 11,000. hoping to get a stadium named for me eventually.
If my stadium was built in 2002 but is now at it's max capacity how long will it take for a new one?
Depends on a number of factors such as money in the bank, current attendances and a bit of luck.
A club's max attendance figure does change.
