paul_mcgrath
Hi. First time posting. I just wondered if it is normal to find it so difficult to be successful when applying for a better job. I'm am the Walsall manager and have had good success so far. I got them promoted to the Championship in my 2nd season. In the third season got a play off place and won the league cup and this season have just got them promoted through the play offs along with reaching the last 16 of the Euro Cup! However, I have fairly regularly applied for jobs in the division above, in theory only a matter of a handful of places difference, but never been successful. I am often beaten to the jobs by managers lower than myself with seemingly worse records. Any ideas? Having got to the Premiership and with a vastly improved transfer fund & wage budget I may well stick it out a Walsall for a bit longer now but just wondered if this was the norm or if I've just been unlucky. Cheers.

moper
it depends on your hall of fame/managere points ranking the higher it is the better clubs will accept you
ridley99
it doesnt moper, they play no relevance as this is something Glenn has said he will do for next year making your HOF/points match up with your job chances as at the minute it all depends on silverware
paul_mcgrath
Thanks for the advice. I'll crack on with getting Walsall up the Prem then. Cheers
Vane
It's things like this that I'd have preferred to see improved rather than have a 2D engine. In the PC game you get all sorts of surprise offers. Not a chance in FMH.
