continentalmanager3 Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 ..Whenever I load up FM 09, I have to go to preferences all the time and make all the changes again. It's only started to happen in the last week. I have to change it back to the skin Flex, heigh, weight, auto-save and windowed mode. I only used to have to do this once but now everytime I quit the game (even when I've saved it) it needs re-doing when I load it back up. Any idea what it could be it's so frustrating! spankie Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 I had something similar and the XML error was caused by a logo pack I used for the EPL clubs. Perhaps you can remove them one at a time until you see which one is causing the problems then restore the others and/or find a replacement logo pack. continentalmanager3 Posted January 23, 2009 Author Share Posted January 23, 2009 I just took --reset preferences out, restarted my computer and loaded up the game and it loaded without any errors and with my preferences remembered! Maybe all I needed to do was put the -- reset in, then take it back out. I dono, anyway it's working so thanks weesel and spankie! Now the only thing can stop me are my inept Stoke players.
