uppercut Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 i have a youth player i want to steal from a club, if i do approach to sign, it says the fee is £2m then possibly rising to £5.25, which is fair enough. however instead of the approach to sign, i elected to make an offer to the club for £2m upfront plus small clauses which make the total to around £2.5m tops but when signing, the news item says the fee was £2m then may rise to £5.25m. checked the transfer clauses and theres nothing that suggests the fee would shoot up to £5.25m but *my* clauses are there. what gives here?
