Gaining personal scouting knowledge.

By being friends with managers or otherwise, how's yours going?

Have picked up my own personal knowledge of France, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Became matey with Wenger, Kent Nielsen and Martin Andresen who gladly passed on their wisdom. :*)

Sorry to take this off topic slightly, but I have never understood why your personal scouting knowledge works this way? Surely no matter how chummy you get with another manager, the simple fact that they are, quite likely, in charge of what is essentially a rival club, means that surely they would not sit you down and go through their notes on what they know about other countries leagues and players and so on

Oh and just to try to keep this on topic: Just a bit of France from Wenger to go with my own English and Scottish, buttered him up to steal Walcott
