jacks23 Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I am trying to play FM in an area where I cannot connect to the internet as I do not have the network key. As I run FM through steam I have no way of getting to 'Launch' the games as Steam is trying to update and obviously cannot connect to do so?! I find it ridiculous that I can't launch the game directly from the disk or from elsewhere on my system? Is there a way around this minor problem? You're help would be greatly appreciated!! No you don't, you can create a shortcut to Football Manager 2009 without having to use Steam. Go to: C:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\Common\Football Manager 2009\ and right click the fm.exe file and choose "send to desktop (create shortcut)" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
