International Eligibility

I am the England manager in my game (This has nothing to do with Almunia ) and I got this message:

I didnt think this was allowed so I looked at the players personal information and it shows his only eligible to play for Nigeria.

I then went to see if I could call him up and I couldnt.

I was just wondering if anyone has seen this message before and been able to call the player up specifically in the UK where the gained nationality is British.

Im also interested in managers outside the UK where I guess a player can gain nationality and then play for the national team.

There has been a documented issue/bug regarding not being able to call up players with a 2nd nationality.

He shouldnt be allowed to play for England and so that message is incorrect. I was just wondering if its possible outside of the UK?

The foreign players take British nationality where the English players have English as there nationality.

Does having British as their nationality allow them to play for any the British countries?

Yes it does

But due to a bug in the game thats not the case yet?

This is why wanted to see if there were any incidents outside the UK.
