Grimoz
ive noticed that in Football Manager their is never any background music in the menu's or while playing the game, I personally have music playing in windows while in FM but I find it strange that SI have not included background music. Is this because of getting copyrights or is it just that SI fee it is not need. Would like some other peoples opinion as to wether they would like background music or not. Ozzy38
It's because the user can easily play his own background music and it isn't something that's either really needed or requested much. Besides, you might have a tough decision to make and the music could get off-putting.
Grimoz
yeah true, this is not me saying I want music, I just find it very weird that a game of this scope has not introduced a music track to its list.
Ozzy38
That's probably a really EA thing to do, and I'm one of those people that really does not like EA Trax. Sure there'll be one or two good songs but the rest will be crap and don't fit in or are boring anyway.
IbrahimAliMaher
Music is to add atmosphere, do you really need that in FM? You have the crowd noise for that
aiston
Get in the transport tycoon music !!! Nah, im happy with listening to my own music on itunes.
Matt ex SEGA
What's the point? People can run their own music in any one of hundreds of different players with no effort. FM doesn't need a token effort at a music player or in-game music.

Im not having a go Matt, please dont get me wrong, I just wanted to see what people thought, I myself would not use the ingame music as I use my own music, what I was trying to find out was why SI have never tried to implement a music track and I guess you have answered that. Matt ex SEGA
I know you're not, I was just expressing my view. I don't see a need for it. Might as well chuck in an IRC client and a browser as well... SI may disagree, but I believe previously they've stated that they don't see that this is a priority. Neji
No point, the nature of PC's allow us to easily multi-task and most music players don't even hog any system resources. Plus, you could either have wasted money on tracks that you aren't bound to like or have crappy arcade music like PES which honestly, makes me cringe. CaptainPlanet
An improvement on match-day sound effects would be a better investment in time. Background music really isn't needed.

jptykes
Might as well chuck in an IRC client That wouldn't be an awful idea for online play. Not something that's urgent or necessary though. Music would just be something else for people to complain about imo.
AbsoluteGenius
The music would soon get tedious. Most people play this game for hours at a time. I listen to the radio when I'm playing (talkSPORT).
