Squad Win Bonuses...

I'm just curious, but what do you set your squad win bonuses to?

Personally, I always make them High, as it helps to get the best out of my players.

And it's not like we don't have the money, as the money shared is what you win...

So, how do you select your squad win bonuses? Do you look to save as much money as possible by making is Low, or do you make it high to try and force performances out of greedy players?

Depends on my club, low if I'm in financial trouble, normal any other time. I generally never use high.

I almost always go for normal. Never low.

Depends what i want for the season. If i want to get into Europe i set the league bonus high and the rest low. If i want to establish myself in Europe the continental bonus is high etc. As my team gets more competetive in the competions i cut the bonus down to low as they are expected to do well.

If money is fairly tight or the leagues price money very low I use normal but if I think I'll have some excess(80% of the time) I will always go for high.

I always set it high as it gives my players motivation and that's hard to come by at times when you are in the lower leagues. Not only that but more often than not, we don't even make it close to getting the pay out.

I tend to go 'high' for the league and european competitions, but 'normal' for any domestic cup. I never use 'low' though

I did offer low one time and the whole squad was unhappy all season, I wont be doing that again lol

Normal or high, depends on current financial status and how I feel I'll do. If I'm gonna struggle, high is fine because I won't be paying much anyway. If I'm competetive, Normal is good enough.

high in the top leagues, if i win the league, what is 5.5m going to cost me compared to say 4m? nothing, same logic on the others except possibly domestic cup

I don't feel the need to dangle a golden carrot in front of highly-paid professionals in order for them to put some effort into what they are already handsomely paid to do. If they need the added extra of a high-rate bonus to play; they don't deserve to play for me

More often than not I'll go high. It motivates the players and it's them that do the work to win titles.

Since my board tell me they don't care about the Carling Cup - that (with FA Cup) goes low. I'm already EPL champion so I set that as normal this year but the big challenge is Euro glory so that goes high.

I set it at High, simply because some players are Greedy.

One example would be Robinho, and it hasn't hindered his performances.

He's scored 18 goals in 24 games, and we're only in the first week of December.

In FM08, Van Der Vaart was the main player who would always do this, but I don't try for VDV in this game...

High for the league and continental competition,

low for the spanish cup

Always high for domestic league, I like to be ambitious and show hope for the players. Medium for cups and continental if any.
