robertodibaggio
Ok, so I know there has been some serious floors down the years with this, I assume that the signing of the season falls into the same bracket? Tell me how Pizarro, who Spurs signed for 7 million, can play 23 games score 7 goals, have a average rating of 7.07 and be signing of the season? CaptainPlanet
Wood is a serious floor. Post up a screenie of his seasons stats if you've got them, they aren't normally that bad in my experience.
jayahr
Misleading thread title. While that performance would and should for sure not justify a player of the year award, it might well be the signing of the year if the other signings have been less successful. Les Girondins
Is it? Really? Wasn't laughing at you mate. FWIW I agree the signing of the season algorythm is a bit funky at times. I don't think its too far off though - I've had some some weird World Footballer results. Just as in real life, they don't often correlate with reality. Several 'has beens' were shortlisted for the Ballon D'or this year for example .. and quite how Messi didn't win I don't know.
robertodibaggio
I know you weren't laughing at me, I just don't really get it? Have I spelt 'floor' wrong? It is spelt different if means to have something wrong?

It is spelt different if means to have something wrong? Yes you have. It's spelt "flaw" as in a "flaw in the game" Floor means something you walk on.
