daylight Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 That card will be fine,there was a problem before(not sure if they fixed it in the patch)but when I played pre-patch the game would always freeze,the fix for this was to run in windowed mode and to turn "threading" off in the options. His 9200 card is more than enough to run FM in 3d mode,I would imagine it is just the problem alot of us had before and what I said above solved it for everyone. Jonzii Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 IMine runs perfect on the 8600m, I assume the 9 series is better so you should have no problems. Have you patched the game? A lot of people had this problem pre patches and could only get it to run in windowed mode. edit - Just realised Daylight has already posted this solution. daylight Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Just because the card is a 9 series it doesnt make it better,I think the bench marks put the 9200 card at around the 8400 preformance,were as the 9800 card is 1 of the better 1's on the market,it isnt just the numbers but alot of people use these as the bench marks and get burned,for example the 88** series cards will wipe the 9200 cards off the map preformance wise.
