Help please, game isn't starting up!!

Hi there,

I am trying to run football manager 2009 on a Toshiba NB100 netbook with an Intel Atom 1.60 GHz and 1 GB of ram. I have previously had the game on my old laptop with no problems.

The game has been installed through steam without any issues. I have tried creating shortcuts, loading through steam and the start menu. When i click these icons nothing happens. No warning messages appear.

Any help would be great!!

Follow this, I found it in the "known Bugs" thread.

yeah i do have an icon on the desktop, this isn't working either.

thanks i will try the Valve website and see what i can find.

Right click on your FM Icon and select properties. Goto the compatability tab and see if run in compatability for is ticked. Some people have had windows 95 ticked and this stops the game launching. If it is untick and try again.
