football manager trade help

hi all i have football manager 2009 for pc dont play it anymore so its just sitting there not being used.my question is if i took it to game/gamestation will they give me cash or let me trade it on despate this activation code on it?

Well since you can get all the 5 seats back by uninstalling properly aswell as a deactivation code, i dont see any problem with them trading it or giving you your money back if you have the reciept still.

You're legally required to uninstall it first, of course.

Our local Gamestation and Game aren't accepting 2nd hand copies because it's too much work for them to check if there are any licenses left for that copy.

Too much work?! all they have to do is use the deactivation code to get all the seats back. Lazy blighters.

I went into my local Gamestation in Basildon to purchase a copy of FM08 (yes I said FM08) and they had a pre-owned copy of the game, went to the counter and paid for it and actually enquired if they had any pre-owned copies of FM09 out interest and they told me that they don't accept it as it has to be activated online.

They shouldnt be so lazy. All that is needed is a deactivation code to be used.

They need to make sure that the booklet is with the disc & case and then it will be easy to do it pre-owned.
