Finished 4th in English Premier Division, but no ECC place. Why????

Recommended Posts

I am man city. End of second season.

1st: Chelsea. Points: 95. "Inf": ECC.

2nd: Arsenal. Points: 83. "Inf": ECC.

3rd: Liverpool. Points: 83. "Inf": ECC.

4th: Man City. Points: 80. "Inf": (blank)

5th: Man Utd. Points: 66. "Inf": EC

6th: Everton. Points: 61. "Inf": (blank) (all others are blank as well)

What's going on? How do I get in the Champions Cup for next season?

Thanks a LOT!

Please get back ASAP

PS. I signed Aguero this season, and he's happy playing for Man City, but his contract is about to run out in two months and it still says (and has been saying all season) that he is "not currently interested" in renewing his contract. How do I resign him before it's too late?

Thanks a lot

Do you mean the Champions Cup Final?

If so, yeah it's been played. I don't remember who was in it. But does it matter? Why am I not in the ECC for next year?

Have you checked the league again since it's been played? My thoughts would be that an English team was involved in it thus holding the qualification for the fourth English side until it was decided.

I've never quite understood why, but immediately after the conclusion of the EPL season, only the top 3 have the ECC label. However a while later when you get the pre-season tables of who won, got relegated etc. the top 4 are listed.

So basically, don't worry!

As for Aguero - maybe his ambition is higher than your club's - maybe you were a stepping-stone like West Ham were for a certain pair of his compatriots!
