chris1710 Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Cant even make it past the initial steam installation...after confirming all settings etc and clicking ok steam apparently installs, but then i get the error message - Steam.exe(main reception): Unable to load library Steam.dll I have even gone on the steam website and tried downloading steam from there and the error still occurs.....I am using Vista home basic help would be appreciated!! CityFox Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I had a problem once I installed the game too. It said that the network or something was busy (this was to do with steam) so I rang a number in the FM booklet with the game and the guy said un-install the game and get rid of steam and when it asks you during the setup whether you want to use steam or something else (forgotten the name of it) choose that other option and it should be ok.
