Lost view of pitch during tactics change

When I make mid game tactic changes (FM2008 still) I have now lost the view of the pitch , underneath the player listings.

How do I get this back?

I do not want to pause each time I make the changes as it defeats the purpose of having the small view.

I have not changed any settings that I am aware of....but when I play the same game as another user on my pc it still has the view....even weirder....

There should be a little arrow at the bottom right of the pane where the view should be. Double click on that.
