PJ Bluenose 4 Ever Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 As the title says I am back in the Premiership with the mighty Blues (Birmingham), and it all came down to the very last day I was 2 points away from Reading at the top. I was away to QPR while Reading was at home to Charlton. I checked the Live scores page at regular intervals and to my delight Charlton was winning 3-0 and it wasn't even half time All I needed was a goal, just one and I would be champions. With 10 minutes remaining I threw on Kevin Phillips in a last ditch attempt to get a goal and the 35 year-old ex Villain did it with a 90th minute winner I am now into my 2nd season in the Premiership (I come 12th in my first season) and here is my team (This is without Sugar Daddy) GK Ross Turnbull (Contract Expiring) DL Wayne Bridge (Signed for £950k) DR Claude Cissé (Signed for £725k from Lyon) DC Liam Ridgewell DC Nicky Hunt ML Gary McSheffrey MR Jeffrey Ntuka (Signed on a Free) MC Jack Wilshere (Contract Expiring) MC Sebastian Larsson FC James McFadden FC Mauro Zárate (Signed for £5.5m) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
