The_Gent
I've tried to create my own "free agent" database for FM2009 but am currently having a problem with wage budgets. I've set every team in Serie A, La Liga and English Premier Division to have a reputation of 7000, with a balance of £100,000,000, transfer budget of £50,000,000 and a wage budget of £1,000,000. However, when I start a new game most teams have a wage budget in the region of £4,000 per week! Any help greatly appreciated...

The_Gent
I'm basically just trying to free transfer every player in those 3 leagues so that all teams start the game equally with no squad and the same resources. Sorry I've just realised that wasn't that clear.
jod123
It seems to be a bug of sorts that the wage budget is based on the current wage bill. So if a club has no players and you give them a wage budget of 1 million like you said then it won't stay that way as it is paying no wages. If you use an ingame editor to deal with the finances then you can get around it.
