portion Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 I can't pinpoint exactly your problem, but I'll go through how I solved mine and maybe it might help: I choose to install my game without the direct x that came with the game, as I'd already got the latest version, but it failed to start up. I reinstalled again, this time including the direct x, there must be some kind of file from there that allowed it to work on my pc, as it as worked ever since.
