Dirkjan
Hey Guys, I can't find this anywhere. Being dutch, I dont really know the English Work Permit rules. So I bought a player from Montenegro. He came, but now he has a "WP" logo in front of his name. Am I suppost to loan him out? (I've got a Dutch and a Spanish feederteam) Or do I have to play him a lot? Any help would be awesome Cheers! Kain
Ideally, you need a feeder club from Belgium (or possibly a couple of others) to loan him to, as in Belgium, you only need to be there for 3 years to get Belgian as a second nationality. Once he has an EU second nationality,he will be able to play for you, but not until then. I'm not sure of how long he'd have to be in the Netherlands for, but I'm sure Spain is 5 years for someone from Montenegro, same as in the UK, so there's no advantage there at all. You could also try offering him a new contract continually. Sometimes a new contract will enable him to get a work permit he couldn't get the first time. Dirkjan
Thanks Kain! Offering a new contract was enough
jams1234
It is worth sending him to Spain because at least he could play then.
