Italy World Champs
I usually wait to start my season until the latest patch is out to play with less bugs. Is 9.02 the final patch being released for this 2009 game?
Cityull
probably not no
ahmufcwafc
There might be another patch. No news yet, but there usually is a patch released after the January transfer window.
Italy World Champs
so im guessing its like last years where u have to install the patch before u start a season, so if i start now , then a new patch came out i couldnt install it to my already in progress season
ahmufcwafc
No, you've always been able to continue your save after installing a patch.
backpackant
Couple of minor issues still, but no game breakers. Next patch will be a data update plus (probably) any bits and pieces left over. If there is one, that is. The amount of abuse SI get whenever they release a patch or new game, I wouldn't be surprised if they left it to third parties. Italy World Champs
so wait a minute, you could always install the patch to a previously started season?
lawsie
The time of buying a game and it will work properly is over it seems. Not just this one but most others,
Phil Macklam
so wait a minute, you could always install the patch to a previously started season? Yes. That's always been the case. SI recommend that you start a new game to get the full benefit of a patch but they are all save game compatible.
Kewell08
Yes, IWC, patches have been save compatible since I don't know when. You will miss database changes and some weird things (like FA Cup draws being regionalised) but all the major bugs are save compatible and you can continue with your current season. AmundS
It should be a demand that they get a new patch out in February... its still "alot" of bugs, and I like to have an official database which is updated! ;-)
Dicko99
Is 9.02 the final patch being released for this 2009 game? i bloody hope not!!!
Nadessico
there'll be a patch of some sort, at the minimum a few fixes thrown in with the Janauary data update
Serdar
Last patches are usually coming after January transfer window.I expect next patch 9.3.0 to come on early february and possibly 9.3.1 to follow within couple days. Probably there will be some major issue with the transfers on 9.3.0 and then 9.3.1 (or re-compiled 9.3.0) will be the last patch.

What about managing in Spain where your B team manager signs sh*t players on £73,000 per week wages (confirmed bug). Game is unplayable if you are not a rich club in Spain.
