Tactics on the fly

hey everyone during a match do u pause the game to make tactical changes or do u do the whole realism thing an make them while the match is going on was just wondering coz when i do it the realistic way i feel as if im missing out on whats happening in the game even though theres the wee pitch with the dots so what does everyone else do.

i always pause cos im slow and the match will probably have finished by the time ive done

Always pause. I could shout instructions to players faster but they dont recognise my voice in this version.

Never looked at the realism aspect of it, to be honest. I always pause and then make changes, but now I just might have to make changes without pausing.

I don't pause to make tactical changes, but I do move the game speed slider all the way to the left just before I go to the tactics screen, then all the way to the right after confirming changes (my little fm superstition, the opposition never seem to be able to score in the time it takes for my changes to take effect that way).

i never pause. i wish my changes would actually occur on the fly, and not only when there is a stoppage
