notoriousGHT
Does anyone bother using playmakers in lower leagues? I happen to have a MC who has 15 passing, 15 creativity in the conference, and seems like the perfect candidate. What else should a playmaker have? Decisions and if free role, off the ball and workrate. It can work, the problem is that lower leagues will not play a passing game, so much as a direct physical approach which can leave your PM isolated. Also the supply to the playmaker can break down, if you players can't pass at all .. A deep lying playmaker, a DMC or DC has been tried with some success I believe .. I personally don't specifically delegate a team playmaker but I do have an MCa and a MCd and the Mca, despite not making forward runs and having the same mentality as the MCd, does get a lot of passes in (50) a game. I tried playing a more attacking minded player there and it doesn't work too well tbh. You need a combative midfielder and a box to box midfielder really. Try it though, don't be suprised if the AI man marks him/tackles him out the game.
