The Heroes Clan 2009

Previous lower league online games have failed. Patience has run out. The Heroes are here to put things right in FM09.

Starting in Wales, we will aim to reach glory, putting Welsh clubs on the map and dismantling the dominant teams of TNS and Llanelli in the WPL whilst also proving talent elsewhere after the first season and become football management heroes!

With relatively unknown clubs populating the Welsh Premier League, the challenge of managing clubs such as Welshpool Town and Caersws should be a daunting, yet exciting, prospect for all players. Committed clan members are required who have a passion for playing FM!

In-game playing rules

1. Everybody will spend their first season in the Welsh Premier Divison. However, after the first season players will be allowed to move elsewhere in search of new jobs.

2. If the player gets sacked in the first season, they can only apply for jobs outside the Welsh Premier League when the 09/10 season starts. If a user cannot get a job within 3 months of the sack, they are allowed retire and then create a new user. If the sacking is due to a board takeover, the player may instantly create a new user and retake their previous job.

3. All new users must have automatic reputation to give a level playing field for all users.

4. New players may join at the begining of each season.

5. All clubs excluding Rhyl, TNS and Llanelli are available to manage in the first season providing they have not already been taken by other users. Thereafter any club may be managed.

6. Friendly matches must be controlled by assistant manager.

7. All highlights must be key or commentary and at maximum speed with replays turned off.

8. A 50% force continue after 30 seconds rule will be enforced to keep the game speed at the highest possible level.

9. Users must not buy other users squad members if they are not online

General Rules

1. Playing times will be initially discussed between members so that as many players as possible can make each session.

2. All users must have hamachi and MSN. However, as the host I will assist in the quick, safe and easy download of hamachi.

3. If a user cannot make a session, they are required to inform the host prior to the session they will miss. If the host is not informed the player will be warned over future conduct. Missing many sessions without appropriate reason or without informing the host will result in expulsion from the clan.

4. Users must post regular updates on the thread to inform viewers and other users of the viewpoints throughout the season.

5. All decisions on new entrants and rule changes/introductions will be considered by all clan members who have equal rights within the clan.

6. Everybody must have the latest patch as soon as possible after release to maintain continuation of the game and prevent delays.

These rules may seem daunting but they are liable to change and are also basic rules for many online games! Also, if the Welsh Premier League does not float your boat remember it is only the first season you spend in the division - you are free to move on aftewards. If you are new too LLM, ask any regular player, its compelling and you will soon thoroughly enjoy it even if you have little or no knowledge or such unprestigious levels of football!

Please post in the clan advertiser as from what I can see you do not have any players and have not started yet. Please do not post contact details either.

I will reopen this thread when your clan has got players and played a session at least for your players to do updates.
