notoriousGHT
Hi all, Hope you're having a wonderful xmas. I am making use of my time off by trying to get AFC Wimbledon through the leagues. Can anyone tell me if the club will ever turn professional? By this, I mean, will I be allowed to have more than 1 coach, and a decent wage budget... and even a transfer kitty? I got a bit excited and signed some guys early on for too much with too high wages. Have since realised loans are far more effective. Anyway, any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Mid BSP season 3, hoping Enoch Showumni will get me promoted next season.. GHT
CaptainPlanet
You'll go professional automatically when you get promoted to League 2.
dafuge
If you can promoted to League 2 you should turn professional. You'll also be allowed more staff as the size of the club increases.
Cityull
With regards to the coaches thing, have you tried the coach to assistant manager thing where you can have any many assistant managers as you want. Cup runs are the way to get money too. not sure about when you turn pro though
notoriousGHT
Thanks for your responses. Have an outside chance of playoffs so hope to get up to LG2. Didn't know about ass manager thing. Will try that. Cheers
Cityull
with the assistant manager thing, you need to get someone as a coach (not fitness or anything a pure coach) and offer them a contract to become assistant manager when they have accepted to be your coach. They have to want to be both coach and assistant manager though. I have about 8 ass man for blyth

Nobby_McDonald
You'll go professional automatically when you get promoted to League 2. It's not automatic, but it is very likely. Wimbledon would probably turn professional in the Conference, given their high attendances.
freddy08
I am managing AFC Wimbledon and in my 3rd season, am in league 2. The others are right, the club automatically went full-time when I got into league 2. Have you got your players and coaches on full-time contracts? I did this right from the start in the BSS. Players get more training time and it gives you an edge over your rivals.
