Intel graphics

Playing ok my PC, but Laptop has Intel on board graphics, and it won't play. Activation is fine, just wont run. Error re font/veradb.

Is there a known error re Intel graphic cards ?

Your framework may need updating mate I had a similair problem on my old laptop.

it has nothing to do with your graphics card. Possibly something went wrong with your installation, maybe the packed fonts file got corrupted (uneducated guess).

Try downloading and installing the patch as that might install the required font properly (again uneducated speculation ).

Try a search on the forums for "font vera" and see what pops up.

Sorry mate, I know nothing about how steam works. It might have been an issue with the updating process, corruption of the files being downloaded maybe (if it was a general steam issue then there would probably be more people posting about it). So try again and see what happens.

Maybe someone reading this who installed/updated via steam can help you out.

Ok , cheers. The .net thing didn't work either, so will try to uninstall and re install.

Fixed.

After lots of reading and messing about, I decided o delete the 9.2 patch from steam and download the patch instead. Once I installed it, the error went away and I am now playing.
