Choosing a feeder club

When the board allows you to pick which feeder club you want, how do you choose so that it doesn't get rejected?

I am Barca and chose Pumas of Mexico, but failed.

This is one of the usless features. You can't go by it manually. It's a lottery whether the one you picked is going be be accepted. Best to allow Board to choose. There is no point having a manual setting is 99% of the time it is going to be rejected.

Don't choose a team with a similar reputation is one (always choose smaller); and avoid choosing the top few teams in the top league (or all teams in the top league, depending on league rep). Can't really help more as I haven't had the option yet.

I've found it only works when choosing a lower league club from the same leagues that you're in, I've not successfully used it for a foreign club

Ive only tried it once and it failed. I think the best option is to state the type of link you would prefer and then allow the board to select a few clubs. Might as well let them do something tbh

Pointless putting it there if it doesn't work though.

I believe the feeder club your manually choose must not have an existing parent club in order for it to work.

When I choose to let board decide they don't come back to me with a message saying if they are successful of not.

Nope I tried that. Still doesn't work.

I don't think the feature works at all. No one can manage to get it working.
